Edgerton Fire District officials are looking into the exact cause of a residential fire on the city’s west side. Deputy Chief Jason Russ says firefighters were called to a two-story, single-family home at 1219 West Fulton Street a little after 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Russ says firefighters were able to contain the blaze to an interior room of the home, although it did begin to work its way into the hall. He says residents of the home were able to escape, but firefighters helped rescue two dogs.
