Forward Janesville is helping prepare a new generation of business leaders. Membership Development Director Claudine Manor (MAY-nor) says local high school students will be participating in the Rock Regional Business Expo Thursday. Manor says about 60 DECA students from Janesville Craig, Parker, and Milton will be visiting with half walking the expo floor while the other half participate in round-table discussions. Manor also says with the unemployment rate being so low, many businesses are having difficulty attracting qualified talent She says the luncheon’s keynote speaker, Todd McLees will address the workforce of the future. The luncheon at the Pontiac Convention Center in Janesville runs from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and immediately proceeds the expo at the Holiday Inn Express and Janesville Conference Center.
