A female suspect is under arrest in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday night on Janesville’s south side.
According to a news release, officers were dispatched to the report of a shooting around 9:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of center Avenue.
The 48-year-old male victim told police he was stopped at an ATM when his estranged ex-wife pulled up in a van next to him and shot him.
The victim fled to a nearby gas station for help.
Janesville Police say at about 6:00 Thursday morning the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office arrested the female suspect.
