City of Janesville officials hope working with a company that specializes in underwater excavating will help get the Monterey lagoon restoration project back on track.
City Manager Mark Freitag says the lagoon is currently under water.
Freitag says the City is working with a company that uses an amphibious excavator and hydraulic dredging methods.
Freitag says city architects are also revising plans for the project at the recommendation of a consultant that was hired to do the latest soil testing.
