Rock County Sheriff Troy Knudson isn’t wasting any time announcing a replacement for Cheif Deputy Barb Tillman.
Tillman announced her retirement Thursday after 37 years in law enforcement.
The Sheriff’s Office announced Friday morning that Commander Craig Strouse has been promoted to the rank of Chief Deputy starting Sunday and will work with Tillman until her retirement in December.
Captain Jude Mauer is also being promoted to the rank of Commander of the Law Enforcement Services Division.
