A local farmer has been named to the Governor’s Task Force on Climate Change. Janesville area farmer Doug Rebout is looking forward to participating on the 31-member task force formed by executive order. Governor Tony Evers calls climate change “a grave threat to the health, safety, and economic well-being of people and communities throughout the State of Wisconsin.” Rebout says he plans to take the stories from his farm and share them with the task force. He also says he believes there’s something to climate change, but has an open mind, and hopes any recommendations are based on science.
