
Bail is set at $100 for a Beloit woman who’s charged with repeatedly ramming another vehicle and fleeing from the cops at speeds of close to 100 miles peer hour.
35-year-old Ashley S. Hicks is accused of following a car that her ex-husband was riding in on Highway 51 between Beloit and town of Beloit and purposely crashing into it multiple times.
According to the criminal complaint police caught up with her and tried to initiate a traffic stop but she fled at speeds of up to 97 miles per hour. Eventually stop sticks were deployed which punctured two of her tires.
Hicks kept driving an officers tracked her to the backyard of her home on Hackett Street.
She’s charged in Rock County Court with two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and fleeing an officer.
