The Wisconsin Public Transit Association recognizes State Representative Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton with its Public Transit Leadership Award. The award was given to the Republican in appreciation for her support of the establishment of a statewide transit capital assistance fund. The fund was established as part of the 2017 state biennium budget. The award was presented during a ribbon cutting for Janesville’s new transit busses, which city officials say were possible in part because of the state program.
