The Rock County District Attorney’s office works to bring a person of interest in a Beloit homicide back to Wisconsin to face a weapons charge.
While 30-year-old Chet A. Hummell hasn’t been charged in connection with the October 23rd fatal shooting of 19-year-old Enrique Ramirez, he is facing a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm in Rock County.
Rock County authorities have filed an extradition warrant to try to bring Hummell back to Janesville after he was arrested last week in Winnebago County Illinois.
