Janesville police make an arrest in connection with two recent gas station armed robberies.
According to a news release, officers arrested 26-year-old Nicholas Murn early Thursday morning. His last known address was in the Town of Beloit.
Police found a vehicle matching the description of the one used in a robbery and tracked it to the T.A. Express on Highway 14.
Officers noted Murn still had the clothing used in previous crimes, and he later confessed to the robberies at the Stop and Go on Milwaukee Street and the Mulligans on Milton Avenue.
The news release indicates Murn could also face charges from other law enforcement agencies, which could include the armed robbery of the Casey’s General Store in Milton.
