A major local non-profit, providing opportunities to the disabled or disadvantaged, has a new executive director. Lisa Machtemes comes to KANDU Industries of Janesville from Illinois working with senior services. She brings a PHD in organizational development, and an MBA in accounting to her new position. Machtemes calls Janesville a lovely community with welcoming people. She succeeds Sue Conley, who served as KANDU’s interim Director after the retirement of Gary Bersell in June. A meet and Greet will be held Friday November 8th, from 4:00-6:30 p.m. at Best Events Banquet Hall.
