A local business membership organization is tackling the needs of workforce development. Forward Janesville Vice President of Government Relations and Education Dan Cunningham says some employers have been struggling to attract and retain workers. Cunningham says he’s heard reports of major companies suffering a one-hundred percent turn-over rate among their entry level workers in the course of a year. He says employers are nervous and getting very aggressive in their employee recruitment. Cunningham is collecting information about the issue in the hopes of developing solutions.
