U.S. involvement in limited protracted military conflicts may be having an impact on how we honor our veterans. Janesville Patriotic Society President Tom Stahura says fewer families are directly impacted today, compared to World War Two, Korea, and Vietnam. Stahura wants to remind us of the importance of remembering our veterans. That’ll be the basis of his keynote address during Veterans Day ceremonies beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Traxler Park. Stahura served in southeast Asia from ’67-’69.
