Former Rock County Sheriff’s Deputy sentenced again for domestic violence

A former Rock County Sheriff’s Deputy receives a second sentencing for domestic violence charges stemming from his time in law enforcement.
27-year-old Keegan Kelly was convicted earlier this summer in Sauk County, and he was sentenced Wednesday in Rock County Court on a disorderly conduct charge, while a battery charge was dismissed but read into record.
Judge John Wood sentenced Kelly to two years of probation, which will be served as the same time as the three years of probation he was sentenced to in Sauk County.
State statute prohibits the probation sentences from being served consecutively.
Kelly will be required to complete long term domestic violence intervention programming during his probation.
During his Rock County sentencing, he apologized to the court and the victim, who gave a statement to the court about Kelly’s behavior.
