Man sentenced to prison for fleeing from police through crowd

A 28-year-old man who plead guilty to two counts of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety in September is sentenced in Rock County Court.
Judge Karl Hanson told Mark A. Hall that he had a choice that night in December of 2018 and he chose to flee from Police while crowds of people were flocking to the Rotary Gardens holiday light show.
Hanson sentenced Hall to 3.5 years in prison for his first count of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and four years of probation on the second count.
The prosecution had asked that Hall be sentenced to five years in prison and his attorney asked the court to sentence him to probation only.
