Department of Administration Secretary visits Janesville

The Wisconsin Secretary of the Department of Administration may have a lot to consider after a meeting with Janesville city officials. Joel Brennan says he visited Friday to learn how state government might be of service to communities like Janesville. Brennan remarked how impressed he was with Janesville’s ability to reinvent itself after the loss of major manufacturers like General Motors. He was also pleased to see the city’s downtown development. City officials also shared concerns about the long delayed completion of the Milwaukee Street Bridge project and long time freeze in the state shared revenue formula. Brennan says the information will be most useful when developing the state budget.
