Janesville Superintendent of Schools Steve Pophal has joined the YMCA of Northern Rock County as a board member. YMCA CEO Angie Bolson calls his addition a natural partnership. Bolson says Pophal provides a great sense of understanding of what it means to be a true youth development provider in the community. Pophal say he’s excited to work collaboratively with agencies, local government, and community leaders to build a hope filled future for Janesville residents. Pophal is also a current board member for the Untied Way Blackhawk Region, Blackhawk Technical college, and the Wisconsin Association of School Administration.
