A local community appears to be attracting investment. Milton Area Chamber of Commerce Director Dani Stivarius says the recent opening of Cafe 26 and expansion at the Bank of Milton are good economic indicators. Stivarius says the Bank of Milton is just one financial institution recently investing in expansion or renovations. She says Blackhawk Community Credit Union and First Community Bank also expanded. To celebrate, a ribbon cutting is planned for Cafe 26 at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and the Bank of Milton Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
