The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is planning a visit to Janesville to hear what the public thinks about a local medical isotope manufacturer’s environmental impact. SHINE Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications Rod Hise says public input is very important to the company. NRC staff will describe the environmental and safety review process before taking public comment from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. next week Thursday night in the Celtic House at Glen Erin Golf Club. Construction is already underway on SHINE’s production facility south of Janesville. Those wishing to speak must pre-register. Written comment will be accepted until January 13th.
