A 41-year-old Beloit man faces drug and gun charges in Rock County Court.
According to criminal complaint, Beloit Police responded to a home on the 1200 block of Eighth Street just after 9:00 Friday night on the report that children were burning items on the porch.
When an officer arrived on scene, a woman said one of the children brought a case holding a handgun up from the basement. When searching the home, two handguns and 67.9 grams of cocaine and methamphetamine were found.
Quincy L. Shepherd is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and possession with intent to deliver cocaine, and possession of methamphetamine.
