With less than a dozen days left of bell ringing, the Salvation Army of Rock County says their red kettle donations this year are down again.
Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator Patrice Gabower says they’re $10,000 behind where they were at this point last year, and they need more volunteers to sign up for the remaining bell-ringing shifts.
They fell short of their fundraising goal last year too and had to make cuts to their programming.
She says bell ringing volunteers lead to more donations, and they have plenty of shifts available at registertoring.com.
