A 42-year-old Edgerton man accused of causing a fatal crash in the town of Magnolia in August takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
Judge John Wood accepted pleas from Daniel B. Good on charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle Tuesday morning.
As part of the plea agreement four more felony charges related to the crash were dismissed but read into record.
According to the criminal complaint, Good ran a stop sign on Highway 59 on August 4th and plowed into a vehicle traveling on Highway 213 that was being driven by a Madison woman. The Madison woman died from injuries sustained in the crash. A passenger in her vehicle was also injured.
Good is scheduled to be sentenced on February 27th.
