The emotional importance of Christmas isn’t lost on the Janesville Patriotic Society. President Tom Stahura says we should let our active duty military men and women serving far from home know we are thinking of them during this special time of year. Stahura says the Patriotic Society does four “Support the Troop” rallies during the year, and the Christmas gathering is the most important. Stahura encourages participants to bring flags, and dress for the holidays during the rally this Saturday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 at Milton Lawns Cemetery in Janesville. He also encourages participants to use social media to share the event with the troops.
