A 42-year-old Brodhead man is facing a variety of charges after being accused of Operating While Intoxicated 6th Offense. Janesville police say a driver side-swiped a vehicle on West Court Street a little after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and kept driving. Officers say a witness got the license plate and the vehicle was found in a driveway on Harding Street. Police found Jeremy D. Prinkey inside the home, and arrested him on the drunk diving charge. Officers also say he resisted arrest and one officer was hurt. Besides the OWI, Prinkey also faces charges including Battery, Throwing Bodily Fluids at a Public Safety Officer, and Operating while Revoked.
