Local school district recognized

A local school district’s efforts to get more high school students interested in Advanced Placement courses appears to be paying off. Milton High School Principal Jeremy Bilhorn says the district has been placed on the 10th annual AP Honor Roll by the not-for-profit College Board. Bilhorn calls it an honor to be among only 250 high schools in the US and Canada being chosen for the honor. He says the credit goes to the staff for encouraging the students through the rigorous coursework. To qualify for the honor, more students have to participate in AP courses and an similar or increasing number must earn a three or higher on AP exams.
