A cautionary tale for high schoolers recording their romantic encounters on cell phones and other devices. A 17-year-old Janesville boy will have a felony conviction hanging over his head as he serves two-years probation for recording a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl. Rock County prosecutor Richard Sullivan calls such behavior mind boggling, but admits the number of people making such recordings is exploding. Davonte J. McAlister was also sentenced Tuesday to 30-days in jail and will have to pay restitution for the girl’s counseling.
