A 25-year-old Janesville man is sentenced to 12 months in the Rock County Jail and seven years of probation on two counts of possession of child pornography.
Judge Karl Hanson said he had to be careful in crafting a sentence for Bruno Tort-Tabeira as experts considered him a low risk to re-offend.
According to the criminal complaint, Tort-Tabeira was busted sharing child porn on a Twitter account called “lovelykiddos” by the State Department of Criminal Investigation in August of 2014 and a subsequent search warrant turned up multiple images of naked boys on his laptop.
Tort-Tabeira was arrested again in July of 2018 after police seized a cell phone that contained child pornography from him.
