Assembly Representative Don Vruwink of Milton says the issue is having a real impact on Wisconsin’s economy. Vruwink says students are delaying buying homes and having children, because of this debt. He says Wisconsin students rank 13th highest in average debt in the entire country. The Democrat says State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski will be leading a public forum with area stakeholders to explore solutions to the problem next Wednesday at Noon at the Culvers in Newville.
