Wintry weather over the weekend wasn’t just hard on travel and outdoor landscaping.  The wind and ice apparently were also hard on Old Glory.  Beloit Police Officer and former Marine Blaine “Ox” Oxenreider found the flag at Bud Weiser motors had blown off sometime Saturday night and took it home to dry before returning it Monday.  Police department honor guard member’s said it was one of the biggest flags they ever folded.  Beloit Fire Fighters also found a downed flag Saturday at Toledo Molding and Die.  It was also returned Monday.
