A homeless man who’s accused of ejaculating on a woman on the street in Beloit last year takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
Judge John Wood seemed unimpressed with 38-year-old Lee Poffenberger’s version of the events that the victim was actually a prostitute that he owed money to.
Poffenberger plead no contest to bail jumping and lewd and lascivious behavior and another charge of third degree sexual assault was dismissed.
Judge Wood followed the terms of the plea agreement and sentenced Poffenberger to 18 months of probation on each count, to be served concurrently.
Poffenberger was previously convicted of first degree sexual assault of a child in 2004.
