A Town of Milton woman is sentenced for what Rock County Judge John Wood called “a drunken crime spree.”
39-year-old Kezia Haffery pleaded guilty Wednesday to two felony counts and no contest to five misdemeanors across seven separate cases over the last two years.
Her list of charges stemmed from an armed standoff with police, an OWI and a separate fight with officers at a bar in Newville.
She agreed to a plea deal that will hold open the felony convictions while she completes six months of conditional jail time and three years of probation.
Her attorney Phillip Brehm indicated her issues with alcohol were to blame, and judge Wood made absolute sobriety one of the conditions of her probation.
