Beloit School Board Member hesitant to talk in advance of special meeting

Beloit School Board Member Jeff Klett is hesitant to comment in advance of a special meeting Thursday night to Consider and Discuss Proposed the Resignation of the Superintendent.
Klett told WCLO’s Your Talk Show Thursday that he hasn’t seen any official documents related to the meeting and things circulating on social media including leaks to an anonymous Facebook page may or may not be true.
The meeting comes after the board received complaints from multiple administrators and employees about Dr. Stanley Munro’s behavior as the district’s leader.
Former staff members have also accused him of lying, creating a toxic work environment and failing to comply with Wisconsin Open Records laws.
Munro was named to the position in March of 2019 and officially started July 1. The potential resignation comes less than 200 days into his tenure.
