A local legislator is being recognized for her efforts to combat human trafficking. Representative Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton will be attending a White House Summit later this month. Loudenbeck has been working on the issue since 2011. She says the issue has risen to a level of state and national importance garnering deserved recognition in recent years. The Republican has authored several bills, and was one of four legislators to be recognized in 2019 at the National Conference of State Legislators as a Woman in Politics Making a Difference. The summit is planned for January 31st.
