A local task force is asking the community’s help to combat a serious social problem. Rock County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force Vice Chair Carrie Wyatt says an upcoming presentation will help build awareness. Wyatt says a panel discussion will offer a wide view of specific risk factors, indicators, and what to do if trafficking is suspected. A featured presenter will also be a survivor of human trafficking, who will share her story and answer questions. The free community event is planned for 5:30 Wednesday night at Franklin Middle School. January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month.
