Blain’s Farm and Fleet is moving into the old Shopko at 405 8th Street in Monroe. A news release from the company indicates plans for extensive renovations and an expansion of the current building with the purchase of one-and-a-half acres of adjacent land. The new store will include a number of modern updates including a best-in-class covered Drive-Thru. Owner and President Jane Blain Gilbertson says it’s so meaningful to be able to make a big investment back into a community that has supported Blain’s Farm and Fleet for 56-years. The current store located at 251 8th Street in Monroe will remain open during construction, which is expected to be complete by this fall.
