UW-Whitewater boasts high job placement

For most college graduates, getting a job is the goal. UW-Whitewater officials say 98% of students find work, or are enrolled in a graduate program, within a year after commencement. Campus spokesman Jeff Angeleri says employers actually come to campus. Angeleri says the school works with thousands of employers to develop opportunities in the workplace and also host job fairs. He says placement counselors work with students on interviewing and resume preparation as well. Angeleri says student success is a priority mission for the school and preparing students for the workforce and rigors of graduate education involve every department on campus.
