One of the eight bills Governor Tony Evers has called on the legislature to act on next week during a special session comes from the pen of a local legislator.
State Representative Don Vruwink of Milton says his legislation creates a grant program for new farms and established small farms looking to diversify or expand.
The Democrat says he did have Republican sponsors for the bill but it never got a hearing. Vruwink says he hopes that all changes next week thanks to the Governor’s executive order.
