A local community is working to improve the quality of it’s lake front. Whitewater Communications Manager Kristin Mickelson says the water levels are being drawn down on both Trippe and Cravath Lakes. Mickelson says the goal is to bring the natural resource back to life. She says the lakes offer so much potential, officials want to be sure residents can enjoy them. The project began last July and is expected to last until the spring of 2021. To keep the public informed, the city and DNR are hosting a community meeting this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the city’s municipal building
