The 28-year-old Janesville man accused of a Thanksgiving morning shooting has has cash bail reduced in Rock County Court.
Last month Court Commissioner Larry Barton set a $10,000 cash bail for Gage Holmes on a single charge of second-degree reckless injury.
During a calendar call Thursday Judge John Wood reduced Holmes’ bail amount to $7,500.
According to the criminal complaint, Holmes shot his step dad at a residence in Janesville because he was upset about how the victim was treating his mother.
The bullet entered and exited the victim’s side and he was treated and released at a local hospital.
Holmes is due back in court April 9th.
