
A 31-year-old Beloit man is accused of intentionally hitting another man with his vehicle following an altercation on new Years Day.
According to the criminal complaint, Jeffrey A. Caples is charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety, hit-and-run causing injury and disorderly conduct after he struck a man he got into an argument with following a night out celebrating New Years Eve.
The man was struck by the vehicle’s front passenger side on his left side and suffered cuts to his left cheek and jaw line, severe lacerations to his left calf, cracked ribs and multiple severe lacerations to his left knee.
