The weather doesn’t appear to be cooperating for a local Kiwanis Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
Blackhawk Golden K Kiwanis Member Glen Disrude says the deadline to place the Chevy Suburban on the Traxler Park Lagoon for the truck on ice raffle is this Saturday.
Disrude says the club will continue to sell tickets until Saturday and if there isn’t any ice to put the truck on, there will be a random drawing to select the winners.
There’s only been three years in the last 16 that the club was unable to place the truck on the ice.
