A fight at Beloit Learning Academy leads to the arrest of six high-school aged students.
Beloit Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Millard confirmed officers were called to 1033 Woodward Avenue just after noon on Wednesday.
Millard said the altercation began as a verbal exchange and escalated to physical assaults.
Teachers attempted to separate the students and suffered minor injuries prior to the arrival of police.
She said additional arrests could be pending as Beloit police continue their investigation into the incident.
