St. John’s Lutheran School looking to build enrollment under new leadership

A partnership with Milwaukee-based LUMIN schools helps St. John’s Lutheran School re-open in Beloit.
Principal Isiah King said they have 35 students now in their first school year since they closed in 2013.
St. John’s will offer K4 through 5th grade next year and plan to continue adding grades each year up to 8th grade.
King said parents have been excited about having another education option for their children, particularly one that follows their Christian faith.
They’re hosting an open house Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. for parents interested in learning more about the school and their tuition options.
St. John’s is one of three schools in Rock County that participates in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program.
