Beloit Police are releasing the name of the man who was shot Sunday night.
According to a Facebook post officers were dispatched to the area of Hackett Street and Forest Avenue just after 7:00 p.m. on the report of a shooting.
First responders found 25-year-old Travon D. Jones-Holmes of Chicago suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound and transported him to a local hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
