A local college is dealing with declining enrollment. UW-Whitewater Communications Director Jeff Angileri says the school will be waiving the application fee for transfer students. Angileri says with enrollment down, UW-Whitewater is looking at a variety of ways to attract more students. He says the application fee waiver is exciting because a donor has come forward to pay. About one-thousand transfer students from 250 schools across the country enroll at UW-Whitewater each year. UW-Whitewater’s enrollment has declined eight-percent over the last three years.
