Local law enforcement finds three missing Minnesota kids safe in Janesville. The Rock County Sheriff’s office reports deputies, Janesville police, and the Wisconsin State Patrol teamed up take the children ages 10, 12, and 16 into protective custody Saturday morning. The sheriff’s office indicates the three were traveling with their mother, 46-year-old Sviatlana Buka, who does not have custody. A Janesville police patrol officer pursued the minivan east onto Interstate 90/39 after spotting it leaving the TA Express Travel Center on Humes Road. Law enforcement “flooded” the same area of I-90/39 and stopped the minivan near the La Prairie weigh station near Beloit without further incident.
