AAA warns local gas prices might fluctuate in the coming weeks. Analysts say the average price of a gallon in the Janesville-Beloit area rose four-cents over the last week. Statewide the increase is closer to a nickel. AAA attributes the price hike to a decrease in U.S. gasoline stocks and increases in demand. Despite the current volatility, the price of a gallon of gas in Janesville-Beloit is virtually the same this week as it was a year ago.
