Beloit Police are investigating a possible case of arson at the former Beloit Catholic High School this week.
According to a Facebook post, just before 6:00 Tuesday evening the Beloit Fire Department was called to the property on the 1800 block of Porter Avenue, where flames were visible coming from an unoccupied area used for storage.
The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
Beloit Police said Wednesday their investigation has led them to suspect the fire fire was set intentionally.
The fire created about $20,000 in damages.
