The Salvation Army Rock County is hosting a benefit luncheon. This benefit highlights the work of The Salvation Army such as Food Pantry, Community Lunch and Pathway of Hope in Beloit and Janesville, and the transitional living program based in Janesville. The event is uplifting, and attendees will hear first-hand how The Salvation Army has helped those in our area, including a heartwarming testimonial from a program recipient. The fundraiser will be Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Glen Erin Golf Club, 1417 W. Airport Road, Janesville at 11:30 a.m., and will feature music and a catered lunch.
This year’s luncheon will be highlighted by our guest speaker, former NFL Football player, Ray McElroy. He will share his amazing story and life journey. Ray McElroy is a minister and founder of A Ray of Hope on Earth, a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering youth, changing lives and making a difference in young men through school tours, biblical and educational programs and youth football camps.
The event costs $40 and reservations are being accepted through April 8th. To RSVP contact Patrice 608-757-8300, or email patrice.gabower@usc.salvationarmy.org.
