Blackhawk Technical college weighs a $32 million referendum for a new public safety and transportation center on campus.
President Tracy Pierner says BTC purchased 35 acres of adjacent land a little over a year ago.
BTC is currently mailing surveys to Rock and Green County residents to gauge their support of the plan.
If such a referendum was to pass, the district would borrow money for the project.
